Maybe one of you that are attending can answer a question that EndersShadow and I had while on the phone today. There was talk about the crossover being able to be hooked up to a computer and customized to the room.....as well as talk of a tubed crossover. Can it be conformed as to what kind of crossover was in the debut?

*clears throat*

It looks as if the sub will be included in the $22,000.00 price tag. [EDIT:] Update; the Subrosa sub is NOT included in with the price. That will set you back another 5K. The reviewer linked apparently received some bad information.

I believe Alex said earlier that the smaller tube amp for the show had mods that wouldn't be in the production models. Something about bob vetoing all but one I think.

The price for the EL84 quoted from a reviewer was $2200ish!!!!! GEEZ!!! We got a hell of a bargain at Carverfest!!!!!!!

I know, I was looking at a xtra cap and resistors....
not to mention the thermistor on the PS.....
I did this one already got the parts from a scrap power supply....

I have already done the stereo / monoblock switch on my amps . I included a led indicator which is illuminated in the monoblock position.

The active tubed eq is still TBA.... The system was set up with (2) stereo eq's (one for the ribbons and one for the woofers) which then went through a Citation Pre-amp to add the tubey sound. It also gave bass, midrange, and high gain controls.

As far as the Subrosa, it is not included... It's an additional $5k, future models are said to have the Bob Carver LLC name on them rather than Sunfire.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. The cat in that one review apparently was misinformed. He had mentioned that it was included. Thanks for nipping that one in the bud before the rumors spread too quickly.
