Just curious dude. I personally would put a couple of them on a set of RE Audio XXX18-D2 subs....if I had the $$$. I like power.

Do a search here on bridged & amp & bad. Bridging amps WILL provide more power, but usually at the expense of quality. Is that 18 your referenced a dual voice coil? You could drive each VC from each channel....

Ohhh...thats some good info. They are dual VC which would work great with this amp. As I understand, this amp will go 1200wpc at 4 ohm.

Just for clarification, I have a question on Agon where the person is telling me this isn't the 600 watt version. My understanding is that the serial number ends with SS, which signifies Signature.

Am I correct on this, or is the questioner correct?

I think I can answer my own question, the meter goes to 500 joules, wouldn't that be the signature veriosn?

I think the potential buyer is trying to get you to lower your price so they can flip it for a massive profit~

That would NOT be me (and illustrates in microcosom how excessive taxation kills private enterprise: The money I might have used to buy this amp - 5 times over! - evaporates into the black hole of taxes); just finished mine last night: $5900 MORE to the Feds, $4300 MORE to the State I owe, I owe. Sickens me because it will all go down the rat hole of mindless lib spending: Glad to know I'm helping out so that little 13 year old parasitical elites can do spring break in Mexico (with 25 SS agents!). I went to college for 6 fucking years and never went on one fucking spring break (too busy working...like everyone who goes to college should...). But I'm sure it's nice to be royality! All this while the State department issues a travel "edict" telling us common folk that it's not safe for US to travel to Mexico. Fucking hypocrits... Also ironic that the main reason I owe so much is that (after taking $'s from 401k to fund kid's educations) I made "too much" to qualify for the tax deduction of all this tuition money I paid.... Parasitical elites are robbing us blind so that THEY can live like royality while we pay and pay and pay for their excessive, pampered life styles. Can you say "French Revolution" time??

add: Just remembered that I DID go on one Spring break during college years: went on a car "safari" with friends and their families to Florida for Scuba diving (we'd all just got certified thru the Y...). Was a great time...even tho one of my friend's youngsters accidently took a swig of white gas from a jug...that waylaid us in Georgia for a couple of days while he recovered in hospital...luckily one was near by and he was fine... ).

Sorry to hit a nerve elgrau, I'm with you. Last year I had to pony up $15k just to uncle sam. Being on a variable comp plan, like I am, is good and bad. It's good in that I killed my number last year, it just hurt at tax time.

I think i am close to breaking even this year. We'll see how right or wrong I am
