That line reminded me of a funny one line comment posted to one of the articles about Whitney Houston's death (from drugs, etc.): "Houston, you have a problem!"....

so my wife said, you know, whitney died because she drowned. they found benadril, cocaine, booze, etc in her blood which may have led to here passing out in the tub. so, i said, she died of a drug overdose by any other name.....last time i dozed off in the tub, i can't say i died from it, as shit floats, i was like a rock.

it is gonna be one of those jig saw puzzles you wish you never opened.....

But the speed I am going with my project it may take me another year to finish.

I did some today and got to enjoy the taste of fiberglass insulation all night.

I still need to wire some power outlets before I can screw the one inch plywood I am using on the walls and ceiling.

gawd I am never going to finish this.....

lift is about half installed, almost ready to get a set of big ribbons in there......

lift is installed. now to get all the crap out of the way to pull a car in.

so the lift is functional. my beloved z24 was first to bat. homerun. dropped the gas tank and cleaned it out, replaced the filters and reinstalled. poor cavalier has been on the side lines now for almost five years now. it is time to come back to life.....

I too am jealous. Lost a lot of tools when the ex got his ass kicked out - building the stash back up - but God if I could have a lift I may actually learn to do more repairs myself on the cars. I think I am the only "girly" I know that loves a good power tool and garage.
