Help

i am the owner of a Sunfire Cinema Grand Signature 405 watt's into 5 channels and a Sunfire Theaer Grand processor II, My question is How do i get the volume to go louder ? I have the amp up all the way but just isn't very loud, I'm guessing it is a setting but have no idea how to fix, I just use this for stereo sound. Any help would be great. Also whats the rough value of these units ?

Re: Help

There are multiple settings in the processor to adjust volume per speaker. What is your current setup & what speakers? stereo or surround? 5.1? 7.1?

Re: Help

What does the volume read out say on the display? It should go all the way down to zero (0) for full volume. Also, make sure all the other speakers are switched off, including the sub, unless you have one of course.

I just checked out your speakers online and although I have no experience with them, they do not appear to be very "loud" anyway. Is there some point of reference you're going by, a different amp drove them louder? Speakers are typically designed with a max output, don't matter how many "extra" watts you dump into them they're only going to get so loud. I was on a power trip for awhile with my Klipsch speakers, even had the Sunfire 600x2 for a short time and realized they weren't any "louder" then with my 200x5. :?

Cinema Grand Signatures sell any where from $1200-$1500 and the TGP-IIs $300-$600 all depending on physical condition and what accessories are included, glass base, owner's manuals, remote, shipping boxes etc.

Re: Help

I'm sorry but I think you need new speakers if you want it louder. You have a very nice Sunfire stack that's capable of running much, much more then you're driving. If you're stuck on those speaker buy 4 more pairs, the Cinema Grand won't even bat an eye. 8) 8)
