Oooohhh Ahhhh Baby Black Beauties

I talked with on the phone with Bob Farinelli this week; he said they are going to offer a VERY s.w.e.e.t. deal to anyone who wants to trade their CF amp in on one of these new amps. He was about to send me the new schematic to pass around to everyone who built one at CF, but decided that might be risky with a new amp in their lineup.

Regardless of each individual's decision regarding a trade, I wish to thank each of the Bobs' for coming up with this trade idea.

Any word of a price yet to mull over for consideration?

yup. that is alot ray. 1k is more than i would have to give also. so, my fingers are crossed when i get back to my build that they all work without issue.

I'm of the same opinion of Ray and Angelo,,, a tad too pricey IMHO.

Retail on the 20 watt baby black beauty is $2100, the hand made 30 watt baby cherries have been selling on eBay for $1500-$1800.

I agree; it's higher than I anticipated, but it IS less than 50% of retail.

The kits were @ $200 plus the time spent building them. Average to complete one was 20+ hours or so, but there were a LOT of newbs to soldering & electronics in general.

So turn in your $200.00+blood,sweat, and time and the kick up another$ 999.00? If I had a CF amp I would pass on that but that's just my view.

Yep; and unlike ObamaCare, no one is FORCING you to take the offer. Although, under this new Supreme's ruling, the government could force you to buy anything and then if you didn't, fine you for not buying it and simply call the fine a TAX! Our corrupt, crazy world just became crazier!
