Are the blue film caps from Clarity? If so, how did you get them to custom value anything as I know someone else that tried and was turned down.

Hi, I do not have the BOM. I am still in the process of gathering parts. That would be too laborious to list because there are hundreds of parts .

Hi F1nut, those are Clarity caps which are audio versions of their industrial caps. Supposedly they are modified versions of the industrial caps to decrease resonance. The largest cap value I'm ordering doesn't exist as a Clarity brand, but the industrial version comes in that value. So they have to convert the industrial cap into Clarity audio cap. So these are obtainable and are "relatively" affordable if you buy in quantities 10 or more.

That's funny, I didn't notice any acoustic treatments . Great looking rooming. Are those Quad speakers against the wall? What are the other pieces of gear we are looking at?

Carver Cherry 180 (0bviously). These have the vintage pie wound transfomers, V-Cap output coupling caps, Vampire Wire copper binding posts, Furutech RCAs, and Goldpoint input stepped volume attenuators.

Danish Audio Design Tube 10 DAC. 4 chassis DAC with separate power supply, additional capacitor bank, D to A unit (BB 1792A chip), and tube output stage using single 6SN7 tube and 274 rectifier tube.
