TFM-55 power dial lights stopped working

Hi guys,

Been a while since I've posted anything here.
Recently my 2 cluster lights on the front panel have stopped working. Both at the same time so I assume it's not just a blown light.

Can anyone assist me with re-illuminating my needle power dials on the front panel? It's juts not the same without that nice glow behind the fluctuating needles.

(I'm suspesting it's the misses fault due to her pulling the plugs out of the wall without swtiching off the amp first!! )

Did you accidentaly hit the dimmer switch button on the front?? Otherwise, I'd say it IS the lamps if the meters still work. Kens Electronics sell these as Galaxy radio lamps cheap.

even on the dimmer the lights don't work.

Are they in series so if one goes the circuit is cut?

I'll whip off the top and test their resistance out with the DMM.

Many folks have done an LED mod to increase lifecyle hours on the meter lamps. Sounds like your issue is not burned lamps, but might be something to do while you're in there....

Many folks have done an led bulbs mod to increase lifecyle hours on the meter lamps. Sounds like your issue is not burned lamps, but might be something to do while you're in there....

I am looking to purchase led lights for my car. Do you know any reliable source?
