Re: How many watts per channel do you run with?
Well i am in the midst of reading this section(watts per channel)..I have a question here. running a ct-7 with m1.5t into a pair of belle klipsch. how dow I know at what point (what is the the wattage is being pumped )? with this particular amp when the lights just start to flicker is that a possible tell sign? thanks in advance, "listening" to all these discussions is getting my gears turning...
Re: How many watts per channel do you run with?
Hey Rush, I THINK the thread is just asking what is the peak (into 8 ohms most likely) rms output wattage per channel of the main power amp that you use for your main system....

It is a trick question.
An amp to make you happy is:
- well, these days many are playing with tubes.
- as to SS, Carver guys are always upgrading when we can even if it is not needed or only our heart can hear the difference.
- if you are not a collector or a hobby guy, it is amazing how little you need to put out sound that will amaze all but the real audio crowd who might actually need to look and not just hear -

Invest some time, not just money and all things are possible.
AUDIO IS NOT JUST ABOUT THE EARS - SORRY KM. It should be, but it is not.

Re: How many watts per channel do you run with?
I believe the manual has an approximation of output into 8 ohms at each LED level. I don't know off the top of my head, but surely someone here has a manual....rush wrote:Well i am in the midst of reading this section(watts per channel)..I have a question here. running a ct-7 with m1.5t into a pair of belle klipsch. how dow I know at what point (what is the the wattage is being pumped )? with this particular amp when the lights just start to flicker is that a possible tell sign? thanks in advance, "listening" to all these discussions is getting my gears turning...

Re: How many watts per channel do you run with?
Work in progress.
400x7 amplifier, all channels used.
L+R sent to subwoofers using one channel.
2800 per stereo channel available?
Whether or not it can actually do that is anyone's guess.
Lights dim and (amazing) woofers smoke occasionally.
The joule meter needle never budges.
And I've got nothing on crazyass Angelo who biamps with two 600x2s!
If 2-way is biamping
and 3-way is triamping,
what the hell is 4-way?
