SPL reading on the Kappa 9's bi amped with 4 Silver Seven t's was ranging between 114db & 116db. Couldn't get it to stay still on Dark side of the moon. Right about where i thought it would be F1nut, but with the price of my ears ringing. I know, ear plugs.... right?!?!

Thats a killer setup! I love the Kappa 9's and the Carver gear. I love my AV-705x as well!

Thanks Kingman, yeah they sound beyond clean and crystal clear now. Even firing up those Sunfire CRS3's next to them just makes everything sharper. Wondering what they will sound like once broken in.

Nah not quite. Papajoe got my M-4.0t's and i got his Silver Seven t's (worked on by Bob) on the high side and the other pair i recapped last week on the bottom. The TFM-42's are bi amping the CRS3's, had my local guy go through the TFM-42's. I would have loved to hang onto my M-4.0t's but Joe has been on the hunt for for a pair so we made a deal.

Thanks EndersShadow! Have been a big Carver and Infinity fan since 91. Had a pair of Kappa 8's powered by a "black face" M-4.0t, CT-17 and a Sony CDP-990 was the perfect setup for me back then for a youngster.

Thanks Snoop65! LOL, yeah i used to think the same thing a few months ago. Now look at this animal. Lets just say im thinking about dropping a 3rd circuit, even though i don't think it's time yet.
