Possessed Carver Receiver 2000

I just bought this receiver. used it for a week then the other night it went silent but the lights started flashing and going crazy and strange numbers started coming up on the tuner display and it would not power off. I had to unplug it. I tried to power up several times later that night but got the same result. I took it to the Dr. today and when he plugged it in it acted like nothing was wrong. Anybody ever run across this? Dr. said it would be hard to fix if it will not act crazy in the shop.

It must be your house, I'd suggest moving and see if that helps!

I was just funnin' ya. Your "Dr." should maybe keep the unit on hand for a couple days and periodically plug it in etc and see if he can replicate the problem. Welcome to the forum by the way and happy Halloween!!
