If you want the tube sound, and with horns you should, then get tube amps.

I would say they have tube like warmth but that's where it begins and ends.

Im thinking about tri-amping a system myself when my little CF tube amps arrive. I think your tfm amps would work great with this setup. Best thing to do is try it out and let us know how it works. I have bi-amped with tfms and they sounded great!

On a different note.....the overall quality of the sound you get out of your system will depend upon the crossover frequencies in relationship to the drivers you are using along with the quality of the crossover and determining the correct slopes.
