Took the chassis over to be sandblasted today. Powder coating should be finished early next week.

Tube chassis binding post upgrade.
The original speaker output "screws" are way too small and outdated, so we will be cutting the chassis, and opening up more room for the new binding post plate that will be cut from aluminum and powder coated to match the chassis.

This is the 1st of 2 sets we plan on restoring.
The other set is in pretty good cosmetic condition, but the ancient brass screw speaker terminals need to go, and they really need and IEC connector. So, while we are upgrading things, we may as well give them a shiny new finish as well.

I'll post a few pix once the chassis come back next week. I'm sure they will look amazing. I'm using the same guy that did the ALS last time, and they were perfect.
