New to this site and looking for some help. I have an AVR 100 that just stopped working on me. I have had this receiver since I was in college in 1988 and I am the original owner. I unplugged it to move it and when I plugged it back in......... nothing. It powers up fine and then I can hear the relays "click" but no sound. Not sure where to go from this point. Inside is very clean with no signs of burnt or broken parts.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Re: AVR 100
Nobody has ever had any issues like this with Carver receivers? I find this hard to believe. Where are all the experts?
Re: AVR 100
I am by far no expert, but had a similar issue with my mxr130.zeprules wrote:Nobody has ever had any issues like this with Carver receivers? I find this hard to believe. Where are all the experts?
A local repair guy fixed for 100 bucks.
Where are you located? I'm sure the guys here have a preferred tech to send it to.

Re: AVR 100
Thanks Chris, I am in Southern New Hampshire. So far haven't found a place to bring it but I would imagine Mass has to have something. Kind of disappointed with the lack of feedback on here I must say..........

Re: AVR 100
Sorry to disappoint as most here that i have meet do not use recievers. Also most here are not repair savy. We send our stuff to tom via mail, or like myself, i catch up with him at carverfest and either go and visit or wait until the following years fest to pickup my gear although i pay as soon as the work is complete. I mailed an amp to rolland and had a spectactular experience there as well. The thecarversite is for more members that are tech savy on repairs. Oh yeah, welcome...glad you found us here.....
