Re: Hrs sat4

the CRM has ribbon tweeters, so much better, but for surrounds they would probably be ok, depends what you want to spend? I have heard the CRM,s & they sound awesome, plus you can put 400 watts to them!!

I am sure they sound better, but i have silvers as mains, and these speakers are strictly for surrounds.

Re: Hrs sat4

I've never heard the HRS speakers but the Ribbons on the CRM-2 / CRS-3's are incredible sounding. In fact positioned correctly and mated with the right sub(s) they'll even give your Silver's a run for the money. They also seem to match up quite well together, a friend of mine has been using the CRM-2c center speaker with a pair of AL-III's as fronts and they blend well.

I just noticed you have the Klipsch rsw15.

I picked one up recently, but it seems the voicecoil is blown.

Any suggestions on a repair or replacement?

Re: Hrs sat4

Do you have the RSW or the KSW? There's a 15" RSW driver on eBay right now here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-RSW-15- ... 43c148fa06

The KSW driver could probably be re-coned for around $100 which would include a new spider, voice coil, cone and surround, basically making it like new. There's a shop here in Seattle "Around the Sound" if you don't have a place locally to take it to, MRHP has had drivers rebuilt there recently and I've had at least a dozen Klipsch woofers done there myself.

Re: Hrs sat4

That's right, you have the SW-15 sub, seen it in your signature then remembered your post when you got it. #-o I contacted the eBay seller that is selling the RSW driver and asked him if he had an SW driver and this was his reply:

Dear jjptkd,

Computer shows one 121521 , the K-35-K in stock, I'm going into the shop in the morning and will verify, Bill

- gtact1

I've purchased several items from this guy, he bought a whole warehouse full of Klipsch NOS parts and has been selling them on eBay. I'll let you know when I hear back from him tomorrow.
