"RimLiKr" the Official CarverFest 2007 drink

The RimLiKr is a drink that I came up with years ago. I used to be a cook in an Italian restaurant, and hung out at the bar all the time when I had nothing to do.

One night we were working late after a LONG ass weekend, and we were playing around, and I had a stroke of genius...

1st of all.. I do not drink AT ALL... never have, not even 1 beer. So my ideas in this field are very limited...

The idea was...

Take a long stem champagne class, dip the rim in to melted Godiva chocolate (I prefer white, Milk chocolate, or dark would work I'm sure) and re-chill the glass... Then you add (fill in the blank cause I don't know what would goes best with Godiva since I don't drink) and serve it.

The RimLiKr was born.

At CarverFest, Ray had told me he is opening a bar... and I thought, who better to tell my idea to...

So take it from here Ray... what's going in the glass??

Champagne with a strawberry. MMMMMMMMM good.

This sounds like and after dinner drink, how about some Chambord or Asbach Uralt?

Gee thanks Wabbit, make me out to be the foo-foo guy. At least you had the cahones to admit you thought of it too. I do like champagne for breakfast with OJ or a crushed strawberry. It will never replace Makers Mark though. Dave, I like your suggestion too. It would probably be great with Amaretto too.
