According to the Sunfire Whitepaper, he developed the tracking downconverter initial Lightstar version in 1992, took a sabbatical in December 1992, and left Carver upon his return. Sunfire began in 1994, but he was on his own in 1993
Don't know about the pro side, but the TFM's were mag coil, while the A series were not.

That is odd; the 2 TFM-15s I've seen were both made in the USA. Can you get us the serial number please so I can add to the documentation?
