Gear that will be at Carverfest '08 thread.....

OK, we have some changes this year and some of the folks will not be bringing their full setup, only select pieces and at the same time some new members and guests will be bringing more audio goodies to this year's Carverfest.

If you plan on attending, please list what gear you are bringing on this thread so that we can plan accordingly.

Also, if you are staying in a particular cabin and are bringing an entire setup, just let us know the basics of what kind of system and what cabin you would like to house it in. (It can be in your cabin, or another host cabin)

We are going to have many systems up and running during the event and if you have a piece of gear [CDP/amp/SACDP/tube buffer/IC/SC, etc...] that you would like to try out in one of the assembled systems, just let us know and we'll make sure it happens............provided it's compatible, of course.

I'll go 1st.

Cabin 12.. AKA "HELLS KITCHEN"

It looks like I will be driving up myself this year, as I expect my father to be in NY during CarverFest this year, and he will be driving "down" if he comes. I'll be surprised if he goes this year, the ONLY reason he made it last year, was I PUSHED him into going. Without me there to push him... I dono, he's getting pretty stagnant in his old age.

AL-VI (if I get a chance to play)

If Dave doesn't come I will subscribe to Playgirl addressed to him, but I'll make a "mistake" and put his neighbors address on it, call him every night at 3:30 AM just to say "Hi" and order twenty pizzas to be delivered at his house every Friday night, COD.

Well, my poor lil rig won't match Toymakers, and as I am in 12 too I guess I could set up upstairs of add my stuff to rigs elsewhere. Plan on bringing the following:

AL-III's (only if I rent a trailer, the dang Plats take up the whole van.)

Man.... I'd like to hear the 390t hooked up to my Lightstar amp, and running the AL-III's !!!!!

I'd rather hear it hooked direct to your Lightstar running your AL-V's The 490t is made for direct hookup to an amp, seems to lose something attached to a pre. Now maybe your Lightstar pre would sound as good, and we'll get to find out this Sept. Ahhhh, the pleasures of Carverfest.

If I can make it, I'll probably bring some non-Carver gear. Tube stuff and such.
