You have a couple of airports to choose from...

Columbia, SC
Charlotte, NC
Knoxville, TN
and Asheville, NC but you will have to make a pit stop if you go his route from what I understand.

I apologize for not having all of the information at your disposal. We had 13 folks come to last year's event and the response from this year's event has been overwhelming and unfortunately we don't have all information on airports available at this time. If you are really planning on coming, PM treitz3 [myself] before this Friday [20th]. I will try my best to get any and all information to you ASAP. If not, I'm sure there are plenty of members that can answer your questions.

When I get back from vacation, I will be glad to help out in any way that I can. BTW, If I haven't welcomed you to the forum....well then, by all means welcome to the forum. Glad to have you aboard.

Ashville is the closest, Charlotte and Atlanta about the same distance (about 3-3 1/2 hr drive). Greenville, SC is about 1 1/2 hrs, as is Knoxville.

I`LL BE GOING DOWN I 81 FROM CENTRAL NY IF ANYONE WANT TO SPLIT GAS. (ALLTHESE LIGHTSTARS HAVE PUT A CRIMP IN MY TRAVEL MONEY) :-({|= :-({|= DOWN THE 9TH BACK THE 16TH. THERE`S ALOT OF AIRPORTS ON THE WAY.
