Severe Respiratory Infection from Carverfest???

Did anyone arrive and/or leave Carverfest with a severe respiratory infection?

This is serious...I need to know what the fuck kinda bug I've got. Eddie has it too and got it about a day early than me and no, we were not swapping fluids. I'm trying to narrow down where this shit came from, any help would be greatly appreciated. If you don't have it, thank God because you don't want it.

I caught something too from the tail end of the 'Fest.
Coughing and lung congestion.
Just getting over it. Not a severe case, though.

Ok James, thanks.

Whatever this is, it's extra nasty.

Well I'm sure everyone remembers my goddamn hiccups.....However, they continued on until about a day and a half after returning home....it did leave me with a sore throat....I was pretty damn stuffy the whole time there though ......

No issues on my end; maybe it was cabin related??

Nothing here F1nut. We just got home friday night and were all tired but fine. I wonder if it was in the bedding at your cabin. Maybe the last guests before the fest left a cold bug on a door handle or bed post :( . I hope you both get better soon. [-o<

Between FrankieD and I we have logged in over 12,000 miles going and coming from Carverfest's. Don't let the miles in between play with your mind. Get over it, jump on a plane get to the fest and have a great time !

That really sucks. Something really contagious up in the woods there.

Get well soon.

Re: Severe Respiratory Infection from Carverfest???

I got a dose of it too - started to notice throat symptoms at the Sunday Q&A. Turned out in my case to be a nasty, old-fashioned cold. Still coughing a week later.

But damn, it was worth it...

Re: Severe Respiratory Infection from Carverfest???

Some kind of really nasty lung/chest/coughing thing was going around at my work place out here in Cal late last year thru early this year. Lasted for weeks/months. Would come back, etc.
I tried several natural things: First was Carvacol oil (which usually knocks most any kind of infection right out..). No help. Then Allicidin (stabilized active part of Garlic). No help. Then tried Collustrum (natural immune system booster) and Nucleiotides (similiar; another natural immune system booster). This knocked this nasty infection right out! And unlike those who tried antibiotics (literal translation: anti-life; they kill both good and bad organisms; not good), mine did not return several weeks later! Both these products can be found at www.healthline.cc

Good luck, F1!
