Omo's system

Greetings. Not a lot to shout about here. I have a two-channel system which I've also connected to my TV for good sound while watching wide-screen TV and movies. I'm the original owner of my Carver equipment--a Carver HR-752 Sonic Holography receiver, which I purchased in 1993. To that I have connected a pair of cherry wood Polk Audio LSi-15 loudspeakers, a black Sony DVP-NS755V SACD/DVD player (for the SACD), a black Panasonic DVD-S53K DVD player (for 1080i upconversion of my standard-def DVD collection--don't have BluRay yet), a Scientific Atlanta 8300HD tuner (for HDTV and digital sound), and a Pioneer PDP-4280HD 42" HDTV (for a beautiful picture). This all rests on a Bell'O AVSC-2051MC cherry wood entertainment system. \:D/

Only one problem...I've lost the Carver's balance knob! I'll have to go fishing for one! [-o< So, I also posted on the Repair/Help thread. Thanks for looking!!

Re: Omo's system

Thanks, OBI! It is a good stand; but the wire management system isn't all that great. Think I'll keep it a while longer, though, just 'cause it's pretty. :)

Re: Omo's system

I wish I could find a stand like that one, about 12" wider, and 6-8" deeper, that could hold about 400 pounds worth of amps...

WELCOME !!!

Re: Omo's system

To all, thank you for the welcome and comments on my system. It's simple mostly because over the years, I haven't had a lot to spend on equipment and because I lack the technical expertise necessary to put together something really nice. But in a small apartment, the old Carver definitely fills the living room with great sound and music. (And it's more than enough to irritate all the neighbors. lol) Thanks again~ :)
