Yes you'll notice my AL-III's have been ripped apart. Got tired of the rattles.
The next time you see them you won't recognize them. I think I'll call them the Un-AL-III's plus 2's.

You guys should hear this thing. I'm driving my ribbons with one of my 500's through the C-11 and the Rane AC-22 Active.

Gary, it's the same thing that was wrong with them a year ago. The bass cabinets rattle at specific frequency's and it really annoys me.

You have the model with pots on the back, correct? Did you track down what was rattling, specifically? Mine have NEVER rattled.....

It was either the bottom board that holds the woofer or the steel bracket that holds the ribbon boards on the bottom. I couldn't quite nail it down.
In any case Gary they are history. I gutted them and will be making new speakers.

-my old neighbor had al3 s that he added anti-sueek to the inside of the bass boxes [liquid nails], not sure why

-he had diff adj on the 2 sets of trim pots and they sounded terrible...but he liked them
