I am too, Gary. I'm also interested in how you integrated them into your system, where and how you crossed them over, etc. Did you pull the Infinity Kappas from your AL-IIIs and put the originals back in? I'm growing dissatisfied with the AL-III/Infinity combo on some recordings and was thinking about adding a stand-alone subwoofer or two.

How much power do you have going to those subs? I built a sub with a 15" tc-sounds svc. I was quite impressed when I finished that, however I still need to put the cherry veneer on the top. I made it so the walls are 1.5" thick mdf and the front baffle 2.25" thick. That thing weighs well over 150lbs. I have it powered by a carvin dcm600. I am thinking about getting a bigger amp but I don't think it is that necessary. lol

The current plan is to drive them each with 2 of the spare channels off my Sunfire 400~7 amp...more than enough to drown out the AL-IIIs~

You're getting a little ahead of yourself aren't you? You have to get them in the house first.
