Re: Omo's system
Is that stand solid cherry or is it just veneered? I may build something like that for my grandma, I have some 4" thick cherry that I could make something similar to that out of.

Re: Omo's system
I beg to differ sir, you have put together something really nice.Omo wrote:To all, thank you for the welcome and comments on my system. It's simple mostly because over the years, I haven't had a lot to spend on equipment and because I lack the technical expertise necessary to put together something really nice. But in a small apartment, the old Carver definitely fills the living room with great sound and music. (And it's more than enough to irritate all the neighbors. lol) Thanks again~

Recently added a Carver TFM-35 amp, then updated the picture. Found an original HR-752 balance knob for the receiver, too!

Re: Omo's system
I really like the way the stand fits in with the LSis, and those bases look great. The stand has the soild look of the Polks.
No way my Bride would let me cover the fireplace though.
I have a Caver amp, Carver preamp and Polk VM30s plus Polk sub at my TV.
Your set up looks and I bet sounds -- great
