Nice hand wraping job on them. The problem with hand wraping is it loosings up. Shrink wrap will also over time but hand wrap comes loose alot faster.

noo... don't have to worry about it loosening...
It's 200lb Dakron, wrapped, sinched, and melted in place...
Think of it as 200lb test heatshrink.

I asked because it looked like thread. The waxy stuff we use works great but I like the security I get with shrink sleeve. I have managed to mess up even the best cable ties. The shrink sleeve keeps my hand off the ties. Great tie job, learn it in boating school. :)

I like the look, having spent more than a little time on boats through the years,it reminds me of first class marlinspike seamanship! Very nice! :)

Political Correctness...defined

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Here's the updated speaker cable connectors.
I have decided to go totally custom, and have my own design machined.

These are 4ga cable custom connectors, with spade ends. Then the top part is a Spade to Banana adaptor, with my custom Banana locking post design.

I'll do a 3D model of it in the next few days or so.

Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
