I found this site from Wikipedia article for Bob Carver. It is a very interesting story how he challenged and developed carver amps

According to the interview that Robert Harley of TAS conducted with Bob a few months back, he was schooled as a physicist - not as an engineer - contrary to what the Wikipedia bio states.

I thought Bob's undergraduate degree was in theoretical physics, but he got an advanced degree in EE.

I think that he himself (Bob), should write his autobiography whenever he turns off the soldering iron for a few hours. Might not make the NYT bestseller list, but I know a few people besides myself that would be glad to buy a copy or two. I'd love to know the details of the lawsuits that are under a gag order also. I feel that Bob is the audio equivalent of Preston Tucker, the car maker that the "Big Three" ganged up on and put out of business...except Bob prevailed in spite of the c*%ksuckers !!!

He's not taking it as a blast. Wiki allows you to change what is written. If you know something else then whats written then update wiki. PLz
