Brand new here. Hopefully I can realize my dreams....

Post by natektronic » Mon May 25, 2009 5:55 pm

Hey all I recently upgraded from a Carver HR-722 to the HR-875. Really it was just for more power and I am running it in a 2.1 configuration. My new 875 did not come with a remote and I found one for sale but there was no picture or list of functions that the remote controls. I want to make sure that it will be worth the almost $100 price tag to have the ease of buttons from afar. If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. I hope to learn quite a bit here. :D

I'm blown away by the sound. I still can not believe it's mine. :D
The remote would be really nice. Then i could stay on my lazy a## on the couch. For the most part any way.

Welcome Nate - and just make arrangements for Carverfest and either she appreciates it as a great BDAY gift or you leave her home.

Just saying - a few days of fun people, great time, and music would make any good girl wiggle it....

As for the remote - if you don't have one, there is your excuse for not turning it down - just turn it on, turn it up and let it ride.

Rabbit, just saw this post. I believe it is number 9 but there may be some confusion with the serial numbers. I am also now in need of a lightstar pre-amp remote. Any Ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm, finding one of those could prove extremely difficult at best. What I would do if I were you is keep looking for a remote [you never know when one might pop up]. However in the meantime, purchase a learning remote. The type that will learn commands given from an IR signal. Take that remote and mail it to one of the gentlemen on the forum and have them program it for you. At least that way, you'll have a remote.

BTW, I see I never did welcome you to the forum. Welcome to the forum!
