Welcome to the forum JohnK, the Ohm's were well liked.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

Re: CarverFest 09' Photos
Hello John findly go you to post something! So everyone knows JohnK (jstang) is a very good friend of mine here in New Jersey! He is just kidding about taking the Walsh 5's from his basement but he does have his own set of OHM F's down there I was trying to get him and the F's to go to CF09 but no luck! Well there is always next year at CF10! Eddie!
See what happens.... I let Eddie in my basement once and he stole my Walsh 5s .... and ran off to NC with them....
How did you all like the Walsh 5s? I heard they were a hit...
My first post here, love the heavy metal Carver amps...

Good judgment comes from experience, but experience usually comes from bad judgment.
The best thing is to learn from others that have mastered the one thing you need to learn!
I would tell you to go to hell but I already work there and I don't want to see your ugly face every day!

I am sorry to see the LightStar amp leave Eddie's basement... I love audio gear that breaks my back to pick up.
I have to search for some nudes on that amp...

Welcome johnk. Yes, the amp weighs a bit. I had the pleasure of getting it from Eddie's cabin an into the parking lot.

We have 3 of them stacked here in the livingroom... I think they are making an indent in the concrete slab

Actually it is healing pretty fast.
Today I was able to pick the rest of the main scab off... even though it pulled some of the fresh skin with it.
It was 1 huge solid scab till Saturday.. then I started pulling it off. Got the last of it today. Mmmmmm crusty !!!!

James, you're not right in the head.
